Our small businesses need us more than ever. Even though we can’t leave home, we can still support local restaurants by buying gift cards. It’s basically a mini-loan, so buy one now and make a plan to use it later.

Restaurants have tons of fixed costs: rent, labor, loan repayments, insurance, supplies, repairs – the list goes on. Even successful restaurants have razor thin margins of 3-5%, and a third have struggled to pay employees at least once. The “shelter-in-place” ordinance keeping customers at home could tip the balance into bankruptcy.

We want you to remember that safety and your wellbeing come first! 

1. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
2. Practice Social Distancing and keep 6 feet between yourself and others.
3. Stay home if you are sick, except to get medical care.
4. Wear a face mask.
5. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
